Press | Mexico City Wedding from Mr and Mrs Chin on Style Me Pretty

Thought I would share this wonderful article from Style Me Pretty on this inspiring shoot in Mexico City with many of my favorite wedding vendors including my wedding photographer husband, Kevin Chin, invitation designer, Underwood Press, gown from Kinsley James, tabletops coordinated by Claudia Chapa(our former apprentice) for Aurelia Events, shoes from Bella Belle, rents from Rent + Co. The venue was the dramatic Universidad del Claustro de Sor Juana in Mexico City's old history center.

Details include a wood tables set with silver vintage flatware, crystal cut goblets, silver hammered charger with ceramic modern dinner plates.  Casual elegant menu with criss cross ribbon trim and foliage. Flowers of bright marigolds, pumpkin, peach with white and greens accent contrast nicely with black iron candlestick holder.  (The sun was going down so fast and the temperature was dropping while wind was picking up, I was panicked as the tapers were dripping and blowing out constantly with minimal light but ever the professional, Kevin got this shot, which I still can't believe to this day!)

Lifestyle | Revisiting Punta Mita

This time last year, I was in on a beach in sunny and warm Punta Mita.  Resting under a billowy umbrella,  devouring flavored popsicles brought to me by beach attendants, kicking up my newly tanned legs, learning to make guacamole, I was in heaven.   The beaches of Mexico always do that to me.  But the best part, was not the lounging or the sunbathing but the divine treatment one gets at a St Regis property.

If you love to travel as much as I do, I thought I would share some imagery of what a gorgeous property the St Regis Punta Mita is.  In addition to the imagery, give a glance to the wonderful decor that KC and I worked on while we were there which was featured on Style Me Pretty.

Just in case you haven't figured it out, it's also a perfect honeymoon spot, not to mention baby moon.  Enough said.
